I Want One of These: Nutrition Chart
Oh, wait, I already have one of these :) But I love it so much I had to share. Liz Cook’s nutrition wallchart is a hand-written, illustrated table which shows the best plant sources for all of the essential vitamins and nutrients. It is so handy to have up in the kitchen as a mental check-list when preparing meals (oh wait if I just throw in some frozen spinach to this soup I can fill iron, vitamins A, B, C, K, calcium, and zinc). It is a fabulous resource for anyone who has recently become vegetarian or vegan, or for anyone trying to get children more interested in healthy food.
The best bit? It’s laminated for a wipe-clean surface, so you can check off the nutrients as you go!
Although I’ve cherished the wall chart ever since I first laid eyes on it at Real Foods in Edinburgh, I’ve also been secretly coveting some of the other charts, especially the natural first aid remedies chart and the natural cleaning solutions chart. All of the charts are available online, but check with your local health food store as I’ve seen them knocking about in stores all over the world!
